Samay Godika (Class of 2020)

Samay Godika, (then in Grade 11) won the fourth annual Breakthrough Junior Challenge 2018, for his video featuring the role played by circadian rhythms, or the body clock, in treating diseases, including asthma. Breakthrough Junior Challenge is a global competition for students, ages 13-18, to share their passion for math and science with the world. The competition sees 30,000 participants annually. Samay won an award of $400,000 for himself, his teacher mentor, and his school.

In 2018, Samay was selected for an on-campus 4-week entrepreneurship program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was one of the 13 participants in the 14-year-old category.

Samay Godika secured admission to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the BS Computer Science program.
