The Handing over Ceremony 2018


National Public School Koramangala conducted the Handing over Ceremony on 19th January 2018 to mark the culmination of the intra school events for the year. It signifies the passing of the baton of responsibilities from the outgoing batch of grade 12 to the grade 11 leaders. The event commenced with a melodious invocation by the students of grades 8 and 9. Prinicipal Ms. Jyotsna Nair addressed the students, expressing her views on leadership and sharing some fond moments about the outgoing batch. The office bearers from grade 12 were honoured for the hard work and dedication put in during their tenure. The much awaited mantle of the Best Outgoing Student was awarded to Malavika Srinivasan and the prestigious Meenakshi Subramaniam award for academic excellence in grade 12 was given to Manish Kaushik . This was followed by a mesmerising dance by the girls of grades 7, 8 and 9 which displayed a fusion of three classical styles, leaving the audience spellbound. The School Prefect, Rahul Bhattacharya addressed the gathering, paying tribute to the school and his classmates and urging the future leaders to keep the school flag flying high. Arnesh Kundu of grade 12 recited a self composed poem and the outgoing batch performed a heart rending song that left the audience with moist eyes. The ceremony concluded with a tinge of nostalgia as the senior most batch bid adieu to the school and their juniors, one last time.
