Bagless Day – 2026
On 25th February, the students of Grade 8 enjoyed a day of enriching experiences beyond the regular classroom routine. The day was thoughtfully planned to blend recreation with meaningful learning. It began with an energetic sports session featuring basketball, football, volleyball, and other team games that fostered cooperation and strengthened team spirit. This was followed by an engaging interaction with a car and bike mechanic, who explained the functions of various vehicle components and answered students’ questions with clarity and patience. After lunch, everyone assembled in the auditorium for a captivating theatrical session. Teachers staged a courtroom drama that was both entertaining and insightful. Later, students worked in groups to present street plays on relevant social issues, showcasing creativity and awareness.
The day concluded on a joyful note, leaving students with cherished memories and valuable lessons in teamwork, collaboration, and confidence.
Excitement filled the air as the students of Grade 7 arrived on 27th February 2026 for their much-awaited ‘Bagless Day’, an initiative designed to replace textbooks with teamwork and discovery. The day began with a warm gesture of camaraderie as boys and girls exchanged handshakes, symbolising unity and mutual respect.
The enthusiasm soon moved to the sports field, where basketballs swished through hoops, shuttlecocks soared over nets, and footballs raced across the turf. Students displayed remarkable energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship, turning the morning into a lively celebration of resilience and collaboration.
To foster financial literacy, teachers organised a guided Mock Bank simulation at ‘Our Bank, Koramangala.’ Working in groups, students explored essential banking procedures such as opening accounts and depositing money. The activity offered practical exposure to real-world financial systems, building awareness and confidence.
The afternoon featured an engaging ‘Product Rebrand’ challenge, where students creatively reimagined everyday products and presented them as humorous television advertisements. The performances reflected originality, wit, and strong teamwork.
The day concluded with a vibrant karaoke session that filled the auditorium with music and laughter. As Bagless Day came to an end, students carried home strengthened friendships, valuable life skills, and unforgettable memories.
