Grade 3 visit - CURIOUSCITY Science Center

The Grade 3 students had an exciting and educational visit to the CURIOUSCITY Science Center. They engaged in hands-on experiments exploring scientific concepts such as density, natural water filtration, and air pressure. Fascinating demonstrations included how hot water inflates a balloon and how adding salt to ice cubes lowers the freezing point, allowing them to hold a thread, which helped students understand air and heat properties. The illusion room was a highlight, where students experienced numerous optical illusions that sparked their curiosity and imagination. This interactive visit made science fun and deepened their understanding of everyday phenomena through practical learning. Overall, the trip was memorable and enriching, inspiring the children to explore science beyond the classroom.
