2022 - 2023

Brain Bee contest

NPS Koramangala is delighted to share the exciting news of Adrija Thakur and Nihal V G, both Grade 11 students, having done extremely well in the 14th Bangalore Regional Brain Bee contest conducted at Narayana Hriduralaya on 8th January 2023.

Adrija Thakur was the state winner while Nihal V G emerged as the first runner-up.

Adrija will represent the state in the national level INBB-2023 championship to be held in Delhi in April 2023.

We wish her success!

Prakaash Sarran

Prakaash Sarran (Grade 8) won doubles at All India Ranking, National Series, held at Lake View Tennis Academy, Hyderabad, held from Nov 21st to Nov 26th 2022. Prakaash Sarran has become Asia number 3 and the highest ranked Indian, in Under 14 Boys, in the latest ranking released by the Asian Tennis Federation.

Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2022

We are delighted to share that NPS Koramangala Grade 10 students- Divya Gopal, Raanan Bhayana, Rishi Rajesh, Ruchir Kulshrestha, and Sanvi Bhujang, all part of the 'Bloomboxers Team' are declared the winners of the prestigious Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2022 at the national level contest. On 4th of January the winning team interacted and received the prize from Satya Nadella, the Executive Chairman and CEO of Microsoft in Delhi. For the young technocrats, this thrilling and inspiring meet was indeed once in a lifetime opportunity. Microsoft's Tech for Good and Education showcase highlighted the impact of technology in the areas of philanthropic work and education.

The contestants had to work on the concept ‘AI for Good’ in the areas like Environment, Health Care, Inclusion, and Accessibility. The NPS KRM team chose Inclusion and Accessibility and conceptualized the Bloombox app. This concept-stage project seeks to create an inclusive workplace for people who are hearing impaired by leveraging AI technologies to translate sign language to spoken language and vice versa.

Nand Vinchhi of Grade 12 (2022-23 batch) awarded the Atlas Fellowship India

Nand Vinchhi of Grade 12 has been awarded the prestigious Atlas Fellowship India which includes a Rs. 10 Lakh scholarship, a free 11-day program in Oxford, UK, and access to a global community of ambitious individuals. The Atlas India Fellowship is a prestigious scholarship for students interested in science, philosophy, and the future. Nand was chosen among the top 50 winners out of thousands of applicants based on his achievements in various fields as well as a rigorous interview process that tested both knowledge and critical thinking.
